Un regalo especial / A special gift

A través del grupo Hero Arts en Flirck.com, conocí a una extraordinaria artista, la cual crea bellezas en tarjetas, realiza entre otras maravillas las denominadas “inchies”, elementos de una pulgada cuadrada que luego son incorporados a las tarjetas o páginas, que son verdaderas piezas de arte. Todos sus trabajos son geniales pero uno que me encantó era una tarjeta cuya pieza central tenía el borde como el de una estampilla. Le escribí para preguntarle cómo se hacía el efecto, el cual llevaba tiempo tratando de averiguar; rápida y amablemente me contestó que se hacía con una tijera de la marca Fiskars, indagando no pude encontrar en las tiendas online la tijera, al comentárselo, me ofreció, a cambio de nada, enviármela porque en Hawai, su hogar, la conseguía fácilmente. Un mes y una semana después, puedo disfrutar de la tijera, no he hecho más nada que jugar con ella, pero el compromiso es hacer unas tarjetas con efecto estampilla y luego enviarle las fotos, trataré de estar a la altura. Para una muestra les coloco la foto del regalo y una calcomanía que tenía el sobre con un trabajo de mi amiga en Hawai. Gracias Donna desde el otro lado del continente.



Through Hero Arts´ group in Flirck.com, I met an extraordinary artist, who creates beautiful cards; she makes among other wonders the denominated “inchies”, elements of one inch square which soon they are incorporated to cards or pages that are true pieces of art. All her works are brilliant but one that it enchanted to me was a card, whose central piece had the edge as the one of a stamp. I wrote to ask to her how to do the effect became, which had been time treating to find out; fast and amiably she answered me that she made with Fiskars´ scissors; investigating I could not find in the stores online the scissors, when commenting it, she offered me in exchange for anything to send it to me, because in Hawaii, her home, was easy find it out. A month and one week after that, I can enjoy the scissors, have not done more nothing than to play with it, but the commitment is to make cards with effect stamps and soon to send the photos to her, I will try to be to the height.
